Continental Compounders is an experienced Nylon PA6 compound manufacturer, based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. We make this compound to spec and have the ability to produce it in large quantities to suit our customers’ production requirements.

Utilising our research and development team, we are continually looking for new and eco-friendlier ways to make plastic compounds. We push forward with each new breakthrough and always aim to be at the forefront of global compounding innovation. We currently allocate a sizeable portion of our budget to developing cleaner and greener PVC and Thermoplastic Elastomer Compounds. This allows us to give our customers the advantage in meeting their sustainability goals.

At Continental Compounders, we mainly produce thermoplastic compounds, due to the fact that these can be melted down and repurposed – from one plastic product to the next. Thermoplastics are extremely strong plastics once in their solid state, but exhibit weak bonds, which allow them to be reused indefinitely! We understand that our use and handling of plastic directly impacts our future, and so we work to secure a better life for generations to come.
